Manager, Crew Safety Training
Role Purpose
- Conduct First Aid related Courses and Safety related training and its necessary examination and certification.
- Remain current and updated on the latest regulatory information related to Cabin Safety Training.
- Prepare/assist teaching outline, course notes and practical training scheduled for courses related to First Aid.
Key Accountability
- Experience-conduct mandatory first aid training for MAG and 3rd party customers.
- Ensure all training are conducted as per approved CAAM requirement.
- Ensure readiness for CAAM requalification (rqp)/initial qualification program(iqp) checks.
- Participate in preparation for CAAM/CSO/3rd party audit on Crew Safety Training (CST).
- Ensure all 03 first aid rooms are in order and good for mandatory training as per Civil Aviation Directive(CAD) and Approved Training Organisation (ATO) requirement.
- Ensure compliance as per CAD/SEPM/Ops manual Part D (OMD).
- Invigilator for mandatory training examinations for interco and 3rd party customers.
- Review and provide inputs to update changes to First Aid Training Programme, materials, manuals, and examination papers as necessary.
- Instructor is to acknowledge on all new revision of manuals (CSTM, SEPM, CCTM,CCPM,OMA,OMD,TPM) when there is a new revision.
- Ensure training equipment and rooms are returned in good order and to highlight classroom discrepancies/defects (if any).
- Conduct field trips and practical training as required in the course of training.
- Provide training reports as deemed necessary and when requested.
- Ensure the class evaluation/customer feedbacks are actioned as necessary and applicable to course type.
- Periodically update individual training files.
- Periodically check and ensure safety training documents are complete and up-to-date.
- To complete the digital TMS training assessment forms 24hours after the completion of the training.
- Participate in continuous improvement project and/or other work assignment as and when required.
Qualifications & Working Experience
- A qualified Aviation Medical Instructor/facilitator; or
- Approved Medical Practitioners - who possess a valid Staff Registered Nurse (SRN) Certificate or Diploma in Nursing; or
- Cabin Crew with First Aid training such as SRN Certificate , Diploma in Nursing, First Responder, Life Support Training (FRLS) Basic Life Support Certification Course (BLS) or its equivalent which is recognised by health ministry.
- Working experience of 2 -3 years.
