Job Description
The Intel HPC (High Performance Compute) team is looking for talented Software Development student to join a leading software development team to create and grow the HPC infrastructure within Intel.The team develops s distributed computing software which manages the entire compute and storage infrastructure within Intel's internal cloud .The software runs in a very high scale and handles most of Intel's design workloads and runs across all Intel's data centers. Most of software is written in Java and involves leading edge software development methodologies and practices (distributed communication, micro-services, containers, Spring, ELK stack). The team is a software team within Intel IT and team members acquire huge knowledge in infrastructure and software development practices.
Qualifications
Registered student in one of the following departments: Computer Science / Software Engineering- Availability to work at least 20 hours per week
- Ability to learn and progress independently, investigate and solve complex issues.
- Collaborative and true team player to work as an integrated part of the team.
Inside this Business Group
Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
