Service: Community Health Service
Contract: Permanent part time 40 hours per fortnight
Salary: $46-53,000 based on NZNO MECA and based on skills
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
This is a Health Care Assistant role that focuses on supporting the District Nursing team to be able to care for people in the Community.
The hours of work are 4-9pm Monday - Wednesday and 8-1pm alternate Saturdays and Sundays.
You will be assisting with packing supplies, collating notes and accompanying the District Nurse on visits in the evenings and on the weekends you will have a small workload of people to visit in their own homes to provide personal cares and medication support.

Community Health Service team is made up of District Nurses, Specialist Nurses, Admin and Health Care Assistants and provides a variety of services with a focus on quality health care working alongside patients and their whanau to achieve optimal health outcomes.
Moū - About you
We are keen to hear from Health Care Assistants with a proven track record of working in the community with a restorative focus who is prepared to work the hours available. Careforce level 3 is an advantage.
